one thing you could do to create adjustable baffles, is to get a few really big washers...weld a 3/8 nut to the EDGE of the washer...you now have a way to secure it inside the muffler, when you screw in a 3/8 bolt that would stick up through a hole that you drill through the muffler...(underneath where you can't see it)...of course you slip a nut on the bolt before you stick it through the muffler so you can tighten the washer at the desired angle you decide...(changing it at will to get the best sound)
the more wshers you set up inside the muffler, the more back pressure, hence the quieter the sound.
if it still isn't quiet enough, get some checken wire or stainless mesh (both dirt cheap) and stuff the muffler with that.
